PSA Grading
Drop your cards at the shop or ship them to us. We handle the submission, the paperwork and the shipping both ways — PSA, BGS, SGC and TAG. You pick them up graded.
HOW IT WORKS

List your cards and pick a service level for each one. Do it online before you come in, or at the counter with us.
We group the submission
Cards sharing a grader and service level go into one submission. Mixed tiers split into separate ones, each with its own ID.
Pay and hand them over
Fees are collected upfront at drop-off. We package, insure and ship.
Pick them up graded
We contact you when a batch is back. Collect in store, or have it shipped to you.

How long will it take?
That is set by PSA, not by us, and it depends on the service level you pick. PSA publishes current turnaround estimates for every tier at psacard.com — we will tell you the current estimate when you drop off.
If your cards span more than one service level they become separate submissions, and those come back on separate timelines. One batch returning does not mean they all have.
When do I pay?
Upfront, at drop-off. That covers the grading fees and any add-ons you chose.
If PSA applies an upcharge after inspecting a card — usually because its declared value exceeds the tier you selected — the balance is collected when you pick up.
Are my cards insured?
Every order includes $500 of insurance. Beyond that, additional coverage is $1 per $100 of declared value, and SlabShield adds extended coverage for the time your cards sit at PSA.
Insurance is a service we provide, not an admission of liability: Shoeless Joe's is not liable for loss or damage beyond the coverage in place.
Do you guarantee a grade?
No, and nobody honestly can. Grading is subjective and the grade is PSA's call. We are not responsible for the grades received.
What we can do is look a card over first — that is what Review & Recommendation is for.
Which graders can you submit to?
PSA, PSA Dual for autograph authentication, BGS, SGC and TAG. PSA pricing is listed above; the others are quoted per submission, so ask and we will price it before anything ships.
We also handle crossovers, reholders and review submissions.
How long do I have to pick up?
Six months from the day your cards return. We contact you when they arrive and again at three months.
Orders not collected within six months of return are considered forfeited. Cards and grades are not released until all fees are paid in full.
Can you ship them back to me?
Yes. Choose in-store pickup, domestic shipping at standard rates, international for an additional $30, or have them returned on your own FedEx or USPS account.
Will you buy my cards after they grade?
If you want us to, yes. Tick the buy-offer box on the submission form and we will come back to you with an offer once the grades are in — on everything, or only the cards you name.

What about PSA's own terms?
PSA's Terms & Conditions govern the grading itself, alongside ours. The full agreement is at psacard.com. You will be asked to sign off on both when you submit.
